Honestly, loving this game so far. I can't wait to see how far you take it. Also, I did find that once you get like 10+ photos, there don't seem to be enough girls to actually use all the film.
Anyone know of any similar voyeuristic creepshot games? lol
Ummmm... I think I've become a play tester for the game at this point...
I found two points to get out of bounds. One is a square blue building just left of the player's home.
It... doesn't have a hitbox? A boundry? You can just walk through it.
The other out of bounds area is at a yellow building found after going to the camera store, then taking a left turn. It has a tree in front of it, but the tree isn't placed close enough to the building to prevent the player squeezing between it and the structure to go out of bounds.
Extra: Me in the void, falling eternally (at least till I quit the game)
The out of bounds issues should be very easy to solve.
There was another issue that I discovered while playing. After being caught for perving, and getting fined, sleeping to the next day caused my photo storage to get bugged, showing only 0 instead of 0/(max storage), and cops couldn't arrest me. I got this screenshot as a result.
PinkPixels, big issue, your game is charming for being so small, but there MUST be some kind of issue with your coding, assets, something, because a 40MB game should NOT be using 15GB of RAM. That was after only 10-ish minutes of playing, and I'm relatively sure that the amount of RAM used will go up with session time until the game is closed, which freed my tortured memory.
Played the patched version of 0.21, indeed worked👍.
Also noticed the nicer pause menu with the simple but pleasing transition to main menu. Nice!
On another note, is the game working the graphics card too much? As you can see in this and my other screenshot of my Task Manager, the GPU (NVidia GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU) is at 20-35% during gameplay, with brief peaks of ~40%. Is that in line with your own play tests (assuming similar level of GPU), or is this unintended, because your game feels like a modern SNES game, but runs my laptop surprisingly hard? Or maybe my GPU's just bad relatively, and my exectations of my laptop too high.
Anyways... patch worked, memory is no longer tortured, and I only have small concern with the GPU usage. Have a good day, and thanks for providing an interesting game.
Hey, so 20-30% usage seems fine to me, depending on whether you limit your framerate or not. The game isn't fully optimized though, so I can probably get it a bit lower :)
after a couple of days something seems to break and no matter what i do, i get a star when taking a picture almost every time. gets quite annoying. otherwise solid foundation for a game
Excited to see where this goes. For me, I would add an arrow the first time you play the game that points to the shop. Also, I encountered a bug where attempting to take a picture would immediately give me a star, and then it was spammable so I got like a million stars lol
Alright the mini game some times brakes and the bar just jumps off the bar all together, with little chance it fixes it self. next up the mini game gets harder and harder, like past few days have been nothing yellow hits, might just be skill issue or the bar it self brakes. next up moving left or right moves you faster than up or down, lastly after spending so much money i wanted to collect all 25 pics only to find out ending the day then taking a new photo removes the ones i had saved. over all a nice game demo with some bugs.

Glad you like it, I can understand that, I will adjust the difficulty of the minigames!

No.1 FBI most wanted XD
Thank you for the bug report. It's actually very helpful to me! Colliders and unlimited police will be fixed in the next update!

Did in fact take about 15min of gameplay for the GB's to be filled up. This occurred on both versions available for download (0.20 and 0.21).
Thank you for the feedback! I will have a look at what could be causing this!
Just uploaded a patch that should fix the memory leak. Let me know if it works for you!

thank you for the feedback! Will add something to make the shop easier to find!

I'm loving this! This is great and I'm really looking forward to whatever you have upcoming for this! I'm absolutely keeping my eyes on this project.
Thank you so much! Really glad you like it!
this is damn near 1to1 of snapshot by tiny secret games, plus they’ve got significantly more content
I agree that it's similar. I will set myself apart from them more in the future! If you have any features you want to see, feel free to share!
at least this isn't AI-generated slop. that's already more than enough to make it preferable
If this was purely to spite said game, that would be extremely funny
Thank you. without you I wouldn't have discovered that game! Do you perhaps have any others you know of
