Hey everyone,
I planned to release this update a bit later, but as there were a few game-breaking bugs, I decided to release a patch immediately to hopefully fix them.
This update does not work with any previous save states as I updated the way data is saved! If you have any data from a previous version please reset your game in the options menu!
Patchnotes:
- Gallery images now have individual data, so buying an upgrade wont automatically upgrade all collected images anymore
- There is a new resolution upgrade - players start off with a lower resolution image quality
- When reloading the game/starting a new game you now start within your apartement
- Added some new images :)
- Changed the city layout a bit
- Fixed an issue with the game freezing after selling the same picture twice in one go
- Fixed an issue with skipping a day when sleeping
- Fixed an issue with no npc's spawning in the morning
- Fixed an issue with paying bills not working
- Fixed an issue with the game getting stuck on the sleep screen
- Police is now harder to evade
- Adapted prices of night photos

There are several lit windows that spawn at night where buildings used to be. Need to be moved. I think I found 4? Also, still getting the instant fail on some mazes. other than that the bugfixes seem to work well. I did get one set of duplicate bills once but after I paid them it went to just one bill that immediately refreshed to 7 days left after I payed it, don't know if that's intended

There's a glitch with duplicate bills, it might have to do with data not resetting properly with the "reset progress" option or a game over.
I played a bit the first time until I got caught and lost a lot of money, so I reset progress and started a new game. In that game I received a new set of emails on day 4 and a new bill to pay due day 8 or something. When I hit day 6 I paid the bill closest to expiring, but the other bill was paid, so I got a game over next day. Then, upon starting a new game, I had 3 sets of emails, and I got a second bill due tomorrow.
Another thing, sometimes when you end day the game gets stuck on the "sleeping" screen.
Thank you for the feedback! Did you encounter duplicate bills / stuck on sleep screen before the first restart or only after?
I only saw the duplicate bills on my second go around.
I don't remember about the sleep screen bug, but I did find a way to reproduce it reliably. After clicking to go to sleep, if you click on the screen at any point during that animation it just gets stuck.
I can't replicate the duplicate bills yet, but I found the issue with the sleep screen, it should now be fixed!
there is a "bill duplication glitch" whenever you check the bills tab, it creates a new bill
Interesting, I can't reproduce this one. Have you reset your game after downloading v.0.2.4?
